Some things to check out --->
Loaded Blanks! Loaded Blanks is a greeting card company with a twist - they invited a bunch of indie comics artists to illustrate cards, leaving the text boxes blank- allowing for the card to be customized for the recipient. I was a part of the Series 2 collection, and there are a ton of awesome artists on their website. Check it out!
I also recently had two short comics in Vice Magazine's Tales of Colt 45, where comic artists were asked to illustrate drinking stories submitted by various people.
Also coming up in the coming weeks is my latest project with Little Otsu The Tour Diary - A Travel Companion! It is 84 pages of fun fun fun....It is the ultimate travel planner, divided into 6 sections, so that you can use it on 6 short trips or a couple of long trips. It will be available for purchase soon on the Little Otsu website...

I am working on a bazillion projects at the moment...but I wanted to take a moment to start hyping-up a group illustration art show that I am helping to set up in Providence. "The Sight of Sound" is at Machines With Magnets (gallery/recording studio) and opens May 11th. So far we have a great lineup of artists that we will be posting shortly on The Sight of Sound Blog. And we have some fun things planned for the opening, so stay tuned!

My webshop, Bang Bang You're Thread, is finally (sort of) open! Click here to check it out. It's been a while since my last update, quite a lot has happened...I moved into a new apartment and a new studio (finally!), I completed artwork for a group show at Svenska Mobler in Chicago, and I've been working on a ton of different illustration projects...oh, and the most important piece of news: I finally got to purchace the ikea bookcase I've been wanting for the last 3 years! I've never had enough wallspace for it until now...Special thanks to Dave for helping me put it together.

THE ART OF MAKING ZINES AND MINI-COMICS was just released! Edited by Esther Pearl Watson and Mark Todd, I contributed to it along with Martin Cendreda, Giant Robot, Anders Nilsen, Saelee Oh, Paper Rad, John Porcellino, Ron Rege, jr., Souther Salazar and more. Coinciding with the release of the book is a zine art show at Junc Gallery in LA. The show runs July 15th through August 16th, check it out if you're in the area!
